Editing for Dance School Applications

Applying for high school and college dance programs is daunting. How can you present yourself, your identity as an artist, and why you deserve to be accepted in just a few pieces of paper?

With a B.A. in English (Professional Writing Concentration) alongside my dance background, I want to help you get into school for performing arts. Hayden Creech Coaching is a resource for condensing your training into an organized and distinctive resume. For editing your artistic statements and supplementary essays to reflect your goals and what unique traits you bring to the program.

Help is ongoing, conducted via GoogleMeet, GoogleDocs, and email. We stay in touch through a variety of mediums during your entire application process.

Dancers come to me with rough drafts of there resumes and essays, to which I provide feedback and editing advice. This is not a writing service, some third party to do the work for you. Instead, it is a sounding board, a second pair of eyes, and an experienced perspective.

Exactly what my daughter needed

We don’t have access to live PBT and I was hesitant for my daughter to just follow a video as the movements need to be precise. Hayden is amazing. She is able to visually see what needs corrections as well as get feedback from the student which increases body awareness. My 13 year old daughter feels very comfortable with her. We found a gem!
