About Us
Built to be the Resource I Craved as a Student
"Conditioning was instrumental in the quick improvement I made as a student. In the beginning, however, I didn't know what I was supposed to be feeling nor how to adapt exercises that weren't suitable for my lack of mobility.
The research I did on dance conditioning, pedagogy, and dance medicine catapulted my love of teaching, but my training would have been so much easier with the options Hayden Creech Coaching provides.
I built this community as a way to create critical thinking and body awareness in dancers with real-time, specific-to-them feedback on their form. A passing correction in technique class can't be applied or even understood in the moment, so this is a place for dancers to come and dissect it." -Hayden
Hayden Creech is an ABT certified teacher (Pre-Primary- Level 3) and is one of the three Level 3 certified PBT teachers in North Carolina. She teaches at UNCSA Preparatory Dance, Southeast School of Dance, and privately.
Hayden is currently working on her MA in Dance Education, looking to contribute to the dance research field. She is passionate about giving dancers autonomy over their training, finding ways to adapt technique to unique physicalities.
Hayden began dancing at 15 and was immediately consumed by the artistry and challenging technique of classical ballet. She spent three years training with the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) Preparatory Program, where she also studied pedagogy and worked in children's ballet.
While starting dance in high school was a challenge, Hayden's biggest obstacle has been her body. The struggle with an extremely shallow demi-plie, pelvic and shoulder malalignment, and limited external rotation has taught her much about technique and anatomy.
Classical technique does not come naturally to every body, but that does not mean classical technique cannot be adapted for unique anatomy through methodical work. Every body is a dancer's body and Hayden is passionate about finding ways for her students to embrace their full dance potential in safe, efficient, and empowering ways.
